Welcome from our President
Greetings. We are excited to share with you who we are, what we do and the pride we have in our organization. We are wives and widows of the men of the Los Angeles Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am proud to lead this group of women dedicated to supporting our Kappa men, the communities we serve and lifting up each other.
The Los Angeles Chapter of the Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is one of many chapters of the National Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc and an auxiliary of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Our Chapter was chartered in 1947. We have the distinction of being the first Chapter in the Western Province. Our Chapter took great pleasure in celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2022.
Launching this website has been a long time coming. My compliments to our Technology Committee for the work they have done to get us up and running. Please take a little time to explore our website for detailed information regarding our Chapter, the members that make what we do possible and the communities we serve.

Silhouette Scholarship
In support of the fraternity’s efforts, the Los Angeles Silhouettes have awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to members of the Kappa League.
The Silhouettes recently held our 3rd annual “Stay at Home Tea fundraiser. Donations from the fundraiser support the Kappa League-Silhouette Scholarship.
